The Bhubaneswar Institute of Technology (BIT) which is established in the year 2009 intends to provide the fundamentals and the latest technical skills required by the students. BIT aims to impart in-depth and quality education that is globally competitive. The founders of BIT have a vision “to establish leadership in learning, research and services and prepare students for a global society”. BIT Central Library is housed in a large hall of 5000 sqft. approximately and since 2008 the date of its establishment has been playing a vital role. It occupies a place of pride and helps as an integral component of the institute’s outstanding research and educational activities. BIT has a well- stocked Library and the stock of text books, reference journals, data bases, CDs etc. The library is enabled with Wi-Fi connectivity. It offers reference services, current awareness services which named as (CASBIC).
